The first picture is the "Monster" imaged saved as interlaced PNG file. Below it is the same photo, but it is saved as a progressive JPEG file. The final picture is a screenshot of both images in GIMP right before I formatted them. This is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education Course I am taking at Boston College.The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics.
