Midterm 3

Here is my 3rd exercise. At first, the file was saved as a TIFF file. I took this file and saved it as 3 different files: JPEG, GIF, and PNG. With help from the textbook, I was able to follow the directions and complete this exercise successfully. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. This course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. Midterm 2

I used the "Select Region" tool to make a caption box. After that I right clicked and went to Edit. From there I selected "Fill with BG color" to add the white background. With the text tool, I selected the Verdana font with red color to type my caption.

Midterm #1

 I used my best judgement here to decide what shade brown would fit best. Up top I simply added text using the text tool. I used the color red for my text.

This is a picture of me and the drummer of the Rx Bandits, Chris Tsagakis. This photo was taken the summer of 2011 when the band stated they would be taking an indefinite hiatus following their summer tour. As I said in my 1st blog, this is my favorite band and drummer. Check him out on Youtube!

Welcome!

How's it going? The name's Joe Rufo. Junior in the Woods School and local native of Brighton, MA. I've been a part of the BC community for basically my whole life due to numerous family members attending and working here. Proud to keep the tradition going! In my spare time I'm a big music fan and I play in 2 bands. I play drums, guitar, bass guitar, saxophone, and some piano. Music is something I hope to include in my career when I graduate!
